Used the reference material, Google Earth, and Google Maps - Earth View to locate Rio Javari between the city of Estirão do Equador and the mouth of Rio Javarizinho. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line between the approximate geographic center of the shore of Estirão do Equador and the approximate geographic center of the mouth of Rio Javarizinho (confluence of Rio Javarizinho and Rio Javari, adjacent to the city of Benjamin Constant), then halved this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point along Rio Javari nearest to the midpoint of this line; used Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the offset, on the adjacent shore (collection assumed to be terrestrial). Input coordinates, linear extent (94240.0 m), and measurement error (50 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according go Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: River, stream, road, path).
