Guyana, Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Tulameng Mtn., along rocky creek on
eastern foot, near Camp 6, ca 5km east of summit (summit 1534m,
N 5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7").
5° 33' 10"N, 60° 57' 32” W Elev. 910 m.
Moist forest rich in epiphytes and lithophytes. Erect shrub. Flowers
and fruits axillary, fasciculate. Calyx green with purple pilose
hairs. Corolla tubular, flattened, uppermost petals shorter than
lower three petals. Upper petals purple basally, yellow apically.
