Large planted tree in fenceline, with this species and P.
resinosa, between E side of Button Cemetery and cultivated
fields, flat, sandy soil. Tree ca. 15 m. tall, 50 cm. in
diameter. Sap copious, sticky. Voucher for wood
specimens, Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw, the wood
specimen from an upper trunk, slightly excentric. Small
cones for 2017 present; green cones for 2016 very rare on
this tree.
