PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Clusiaceae Clusia Det. W.C. Allen, XII2012 GUYANA. Barima-Waini. Barabina swamp, near Mabaruma. Downhill of shell midden excavated by Denis Williams. 10 m. 8°12'32"N 59°49'26"W. Swamp on thick pegasse. End of dry season, soil moist but no standing water,. Large tree with copious fruits. Fleshy fruits dehiscent, exposing seeds with pink arils.
