17°33’32”S, 63°20’23”W. alt. 340 m.
The Rio Cuchi now a small now-flowing stream on wide,
shallow sandy bed, with many Cyperaceae, Andropogoneae,
and with cerrado woodland (Combretum leprosum) on
sandy soil above the floodplain on both sides.
Dense clumps of many tightly clustered, dark green stems.
On damp sand in full sun.
