The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Cyperaceae Cyperus luzulae det. M. Nee, 2015 DEPTO. Santa Cruz, Prov. Ibanez, 12 km (straight line) W of center of La Belgica, along Rio Cuchi. 17°33’32”S, 63°20’23”W. alt. 340 m. The Rio Cuchi now a small now-flowing stream on wide shallow sandy bed, with many Cyperaceae, Andropogoneae, and with cerrado woodland (Combretum leprosum) on sandy soil above the floodplain on both sides. Dense clump of many stems. Plant all green. On damp sand in full sun and also above the flood zone in sandy open and somewhat weedy areas. Coll.: M. Nee & J. M. Mendoza F. 57345 23 Dec. 2010 03692134
