Extensive sandstone glade including both flats and stream channel canyons, with mixed conifer (Pinus echinata, P. taeda, P. virginiana) – hardwood (Acer rubrum, Carya, Fraxinus, Prunus, Liquidambar, Liriodendron, Quercus alba, Q. stellata) forest including Tsuga and Kalmia understory in canyons. on Vaccinium branch.
