    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to 18 km along the road which connects the town of Olivença to the city/municipality of Una, BA-001, Mun. Ilhéus, Bahia. Used Google Maps - Search Engine, to locate the general location of the city of Olivença, then using Google Maps - Satellite View, found the nearby town referenced as "Olivença" in Wikimapia. Beginning at the point along BA-001 closest to the approximate geographic center of Olivença (-14.9468373 -39.0098414), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 18 km (1800.05 m) south along BA-001 toward Una. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the offset (along with the approximate geographic center of Olivença provided above). Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to find the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the town of Olivença, by measuring the distance from the starting location of the offset along BA-001 (-14.9468373 -39.0098414) to the most distant edge of the town of Olivença as it is visualized using Google Maps - Satellite view (consistent with borderline shown on Wikimapia). Input coordinates, linear extent (2366.52 m), measurement error (0.01), and distance precision (100 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to the Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: Offset along a path).
