Negro. Low tropical evergreen forest, seasonally
inundated.
14°44'S, 62°49'W. alt. 275 m.
Tree 13 m. tall, 25 cm. in diameter; bark finely
furrowed, brown; slash brownish violet with no
exudate; wood pale. Buds bright yellow.
