Upper Essequibo River, 1- 4 km upstream from mouth of Kuyuwini River; E and W of banks. Elevation: 100-200 m. 2°20'N 5 8°22'W. Riverine forest and bank vegetation. Shrub 2 m; calyx green; corolla pink to lavender; filaments pinkish purple at base, lightening distally. Anthers bluish purple; style white suffused with purple. T.W.
