GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Mt. Wokomung, edge of plateau
above first of four escarpments. Elevation: 1070 m. 5°6'57.2"N
59°48'46.9"W. Dense, single-tiered canopy forest on gray sandy clay,
with peat, sandstone, with Clusia, Schefflera and Euterpe. Tree 4m, sepals
and ovary green, petals yellow with pink tinges, style and filaments
yellow, anthers white, purple at apex.
