A PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Melastomataceae Tococa guianensis Aubl. Det. F. Michelangeli & C. Martin, 2005 GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Mt. Wokomung, edge of plateau above first of four escarpments. Elevation: 1070 m. 5°6'57.2"N 59°48'46.9"W. Dense, single-tiered canopy forest on gray sandy clay, with peat, sandstone, with Clusia, Schefflera and Euterpe.
