Pakaraima Mts, adj. to E bank, Upper Ireng R; between Cipo settlement & Norugu Creek. Elevation: 585-600 m. 4°48'N 60°2'W. Savanna; includes riparian edge forest and low gallery forest. Shrub 1.5 m; fruit dark purple with maroon vestiture, globose, 0.6 cm diameter. Savanna dominated by Trachypogon plumosus with Byrsonima, Curatella, and melastomataceous shrubs. T.W.
