Seasonally flooded, lots of epiphytes. Lecythidaceae and Rapateaceae dominant. Shrub 1.5 m tall. Inflorescence terminal panicle. Inflorescence rachis yellow-green turning purple at fruiting; calyx green; corolla yellow; fruit dark green. Ant domatia present. Silica sample. K.M. Redden 4657 10 October 2006 With: C. Perry, P.
