GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni Region. Paruima, 15 km W; 0.25 km W
of camp near eastern summit of Waukauyengtipu. Elevation: 1525 m.
5°49'57"N 61°12'0"W. Dense tepui scrub forest on sandstone & peat,
with Euterpe, Clusia & Bonnetia. Tree, 4 m; leaves, stems, pedicels,
ovary & sepals covered with red hairs; sepals & ovary green, corolla
pink, in bud.
