Edge of tropical evergreen forest on flat, just above
floodplain of S side of Rio Moile, with Croton matoiirensis,
Virola sebifera.
2 m. tall, in unshaded swampy places. Flowers showy;
petals, filaments and connective the same pink-purple; the
base of the filaments white.
