Below 1st escarpment (of four) of Kamakusa Mt., Partang Airstrip (presently non-operational) and vicinity. 750 m. 5°49'26.3"N 60°13'30.3"W. Savanna and surrounding forest. Rock, white sand, and laterite. Herb, woody at base, to lm. Leaves purple underneath. Hypanthium green, teeth purplish; petals white, anthers purple. Silica sample. KJ.
