Melastomataceae Nepsera aquatica (Aubl.) Naudin Det. F.A. Michelangeli, X 2007 GUYANA. Amatuk Falls on left bank of Potaro near village. 165 m 5°18'14.9"N 59°18'54.8"W. Riparian forest with boulders around falls. Mixed brown and white sand. To 0.5 m; main axis barely woody. Roots fibrous and shallow. Petioles and primary veins purple-tinted. Inflorescences delicate, flowers solitary on long filiform pedicels. Pedicels and calyx green. Petals white, anthers and style purple. Silica sample (2). K. J. Wurdack 4270 6 September 2006 With: C.
