Apparently common judging by the corollas on the ground but few seen.

Description
shrub, 2 m., usually epiphytic. Shrub 2 m tall, bushy. Corollas red. Usually an epiphyte in the tops of tall trees. Leaves dark green above and pale green beneath. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
