Shrub to small tree, about 6 m. tall; bark
much lichen splotched; twigs green with brown
or reddish side; leaves dull gloss, green above,
dull gloss light green beneath; flowers in bud;
corolla white.
In second growth forest, near Santa Maria de
Nanay.
