    Montane cloud forest. Quercus copeyensis, Q. rapurahuensis. Gregarious. On soil.

  • Description

    Pileus 3 cm broad, plane to depressed, ochraceous (6E7, 6E6), recurved margins, areolate. Hymenophore lamellate with venations, bright yellow (2A7), lamellulae present, blueing when bruised or exposed. Stipe 3.5-3.7 x 0.5 cm, equal, longitudinally striate and yellowish at the upper half, scaly and light ochraceous (6C4) towards the base. Yelow basal mycelium. Flesh whitish at the top of stipe and pileus (2A2), brownish at the base. Smell sweet, taste mild.
