Province: Zamora-Chinchipe. Cantón: Nangaritza. Parroquia: Zurmi.
Comunidad Centro Shaime (along Rio Nangaritza). Forest 2-4 km NW of
Centro Shaime. Forest on limestone outcrop (i.e., presence of sinkholes,
rocks, and caves), ca. 1000 m.. 04o18'06.3MS 078°41'01.9"W. Evergreen
wet forest. Terrestrial; stem erect to 75 cm tall. Bracts spiralled and red.
Corolla yellow.
