    Tree 12 m. Lvs with about 8 leaflets; these deep green and subnitid above, pubescence pale brownish below. Inflorescences terminal, crowded. Perianth pale yellow, usually with reddish tinge, forming united cap, early caducous and falling as unit. Anthers yellow. Ovary bright green.
