>0-1 BOTANICAL NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 03177479 Natrona Co. T30N R86W S25 NW4 of SW4 of NE4 Sweetwater River Plateau: west shore of Steamboat Lake, ca 0.3 air miles south of WY state highway 220, ca 4.5 miles NNE of Independence Rock. Dense stands of Spartina, Distichlis, Juncus balticus, & Scirpus nevadensis on damp (but not flooded) whitish alkali clays near bank of lake. Vegetative cover ca 90%. Extremely abundant around entire lake and bordering smaller ponds & lakes extending towards the N W arm of Pathfinder Reservoir. Total population probably 500,000-1,000,000.
