T30N R85W S29 S1/2 of SW4 Sweetwater River Valley: playa lakes ca 1.2-1.6 air mi W of Sanford Peak and 0.7 mi ESE of Steamboat Lake, ca 1 mi N of Pathfinder Reservoir (at high water) and 1.3 mi S of WY Hwy 220. S shore of dry alkali lake on alkaline clay soil. Community of Distichlis stricta and scattered Spartina on lakeshore with vegetative cover 15-25%. Locally abundant.
