Shrubby vegetation on small levee on relatively dry, sandy soil behind the zone
of drift-wood.
Epiphytic on large tree; leaves dull green on upper, reddish-violet on lower sur-
face; flowers small, waxy, blueish-violet.
Local name: Mora mata palo.
