datum] Devil’s Hammock Wildlife Management Area; ca 1/4
mile SW of the Waccasassa River bridge on FL 24 is the
Southwest Entrance, take Otter Creek Road ca 1.3 miles
north (to where it is blocked off), then ca 1/4 mile W on
access road. Old road berm with: Paspalum urvillei.
Panicum. Dichanthelium. Rhvnchosoora microcarpa. Scoparia
dulcis. Cvperus polvstachvos. C. haspan. Juncus mareinatus.
Mitreola petiolata. Locally abundant; stems bent over,
touching ground at tips. Area is a mosaic of clearcut
swamp and bottomland forest (and remnant patches) and pine
plantation (ex flatwoods?).
