trail was followed into the forest. Disturbed forest.

Shrub» 1.5 n tall. Flowers pink.
Nom. Vern.: Pin tape (Cayapa);
Use: For snake bites. The plant is used for removing
swellings caused by bites of the snake "Verrugosa"
(Lachesis muta).
