3°37’N, 53°12’W. Ca. 300 m. Non-flooded
moist forest.
Liana. Curly, reddish-green bracts
subtending flowers. Buds yellow, petals
yellow becoming tinged with red especially
on claw portion. Pleasant pansy-like aroma.
Developing red-winged fruits. Same as
