N.N.W. of the N.'prow' of Mt.Roraima. Seasonally dried up boulder- strewn gravel area where a loop of the Warurna river rejoins the main course. The Warurna is a tributary of the Kako & Mazaruni rivers. 5°21'30"N.; 60°46’W. Near Camp 4. 1,700ft. Some 50ft. from nearest piece of riverine rain forest, the predominant vegetation of the area. ?Cyperaceae Common on sides & bottom of a seasonal> stream (not running on visit).
