United States of America. New York. Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Town of Pound Ridge. In the vicinity of the second bridge on the Joshua Hobby Lane. Just north of junction with the Upper Shad Road.

Habitat
Along trail under late secondary forest.

Description
Tree, 25 m x 30 cm. Bark reticulated fissures on lower part of trunk, the ridges flattened and smooth above. Stellate trichomes in axils of secondary veins with the midrib abaxially. Buds glabrous, not angled. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
