Serra do Cipo. 32 km beyond the bridge over the Rio Cip6 en route from Serra do Cip6 to Concei?ao do Mato Dentro. 1299 m -19.23376°, -43.51021° Recently burned campo rupestre vegetation with low outcrops and a small gallery forest. Shrub 1-2 dm tall with dense upright dichotomous branching. Flowers 8-merous. Petals pink with darker venation and a yellowish green base. Filaments and pedoconnectives yellowish orange. Anthers yellow on abaxial surface but brown on adaxial surface. Appendages lemon-yellow. Petals fused at the very base and falling away as a unit with attached filaments. Hypanthium green, 8-ribbed.
