Recently burned campo rupestre vegetation with low outcrops and
a small gallery forest.
Shrub 1-2 dm tall with dense upright dichotomous branching.
Flowers 8-merous. Petals pink with darker venation and a
yellowish green base. Filaments and pedoconnectives yellowish
orange. Anthers yellow on abaxial surface but brown on adaxial
surface. Appendages lemon-yellow. Petals fused at the very base
and falling away as a unit with attached filaments. Hypanthium
green, 8-ribbed. Four plants seen.
