crimson to reddish-brown in color, extremely bristly. Leaf
undersides silver in color. Fruit red. In Oak-Hickory Mesic
Woodland with Toxicodendron radicans, Alliaria petiolata,
Lindera benzoin, Acer rubrum, and Carya.
