Description
Pileus 4.5-5 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, brown and subvelutinous on disc, dull red and subvelutinous to minutely areolate toward margin. Flesh white, cyanescent, with mild odor and taste. Tubes olive yellow, cyanescent, adnexed, with cyanescent pale red pores. Stipe 4.5 cm long, 6 mm broad, equal, dry, pink to pale red with heavy subpruina above, becoming subscabrous ridged to fibrillose ridged below, white at base, with interior dull red to pink, unchanging. Spores smooth.
