Description
Pileus 7.5 cm broad, dry, plano-convex, finely matted fibrillose to finely matted subtomentose, yellow with streaks for red and irregular zones of pale greenish olive, with even margin. Flesh pale yellow lightly cyanescent but quickly so, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, yellow, cyanescent, with brownish red pores, cyanescent. Stipe 5.5 cm long, 1.7 cm broad, barely subclavate to subequal, with slight taper at base, dry, pale yellow at apex, otherwise pale yellowish white, with some hints of pale red (obscurely) pruina, otherwise yellowish white with obscure, low ridges, white at base, with interior pale yellow to nearly white, fibrous, not cyanescent. N.B: Possibly equal to material collected with R. Robinson (WA) in 2006 (REH 8828, NY, PERTH).
