  • Description

    Pileus 4-5.5 cm broad, plano-convex to plane, dry to moist, matted tomentose, deep brown (6-7F6,5) with a hint of lilac-purple, with even margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and slightly peppery-bitter taste. Tubes adnexed, pinkish to pinkish vinaceous, staining light brown. Stipe 4-6 cm long, 6-15 mm broad, equal to tapered at base, dry, white at apex, lilac brownish below, white at base, finely tomentose, with interior white, unchanging, white at base.
