Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to 30 km along the road which connects the city of Buerarema to the town of Vila Brasil, BA-688, in Mun. Una, Bahia. Using Google Maps - Satellite view, located BA-688. Beginning at where BA-688 intersects with BR-101 (-14.9593589 -39.30769), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 30 km (30.0001 km) along BA-688 towards the town of Vila Brasil (southeast). Used Canadensys Lat long Crosshairs to find the coordinates for the offset. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to find the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the intersection of BA-688 and BR-101 in the city of Buerarema, by measuring the diameter of the intersection. Input coordinates, linear extent (0.0426350 km), measurement error (0.0005 km), and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
