Description
Shrublets, ca. 1 m. tall, with 1-2(-3) ultimate branches. Corollas purple, visited (7:00-9:00 A.M.) by black and white or black and orange bumble bees which buzz the anther cone, turning to 4 or five positions, apparently corresponding to the 5 anthers. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
