diameter, with stilt roots to 1 meter high; bark with
yellow latex; calyx green^ corolla pink±sh-red$ stamens
colored as the corolla or slightly darter; stigma
yellowish-white. In forest. About 2.5 kilometers north of
Cachoeira Tres Saltos, 2° 13* N, J2° £2* w, French Guiana.
