city of Salyador, 3km NE of Itapoh.
Dunes of white sand, in a distance of
1*-2km from the shore. Open tree&scrub
woodland with xeromorphic or semisucculent
leaves. Some trees up to 4m, mostly
Clus iaceae,Ericaceae,Bi gnoniaceae,
Rubiaceae,Leguminosae and others.
Low palms with large underground-trunks,
terrestrial Bromeliaceae&0rchidaceae,
small Velloziaceae, Cactaceae and
succulent Euphorbiaceae frequent.
Valleys sometimes overflood, mainly
covered with Cyperaceae,Eriocaulaceae
and Lentibulariaceae.
Some vines and no epiphytes.
Shrub of 2m with white flowers.
