Herb 20 cm. tall in wet, low sunny area. Stem 4-winged. Leaves with 15 mm petiole, grooved on upper surface. Blades with small teeth on margin, 3 nerves from base of leaves, upper surface with stiff white hairs. Flowers: calyx green with four slightly reflexed acute lobes; red-tipped glan- dular hairs; four white petals with slight pink tinge on hair like tips, stamens; 8 white filaments purple anthers with white tip.
