coordinates along Rio Preto (165 km from Barcelos). Elev. ca. 100 m. 00°14'12"S 65°05'23"W.
Igapo forest with numerous islets. Shrub 2 m tall above water level; inflorescences ascending;
perianth greenish yellow. Specimen preserved in 70% ethanol before drying.
