Memspermaceae Abuta rufescens Aubl. Det. S.N. Alexander, 2007 Suriname. Sipaliwini. 1.8 km SW from Kwamalasamutu village, Sipaliwini R. at Peritu Eeku (Creek) mouth. 211m 2°20'27"N 56°47'43"W. Seasonally-flooded riparian forest. Liana. Older stem greyish-white, 3-4 cm diam, smooth, sub-bark chocolate brown, crumbly, wood yellow. Much of vegetation w/ blond hairs. Frt golden brown, densely pubescent. Common Name: warapa ijoki (Trio). 26 April 2005 6214 B.
