m 3°50'37.98"N 55°37'4.47"W. Open area, vegetation along trail. Small
tree, 5 m tall. Twigs brown, raised-lenticellate. Extra-floral nectaries
cup-like, 1 at base of leaf; stipules lanceolate, golden-sericeous. Sepals
whitish green, petals grey-white; stamens bright orange. Fruiting
specimens with rugose pedicels. Common Name: akuri pipe (Trio),
azengi goon (Saramaccan).
