Nee, 2011 NEW YORK State, Bronx Co., Bronx, along Metro North railroad, edge of playing fields, just NE of the Botanic Garden station. 40°52’05”N, 63°52’52”W. alt. 20 m. Trees and shrubs knocked over or damaged by Hurricane Irene. Spontaneous tree, in line of trees along H railroad, 15 m. tall, 50 cm. in diameter. Foliage without much odor. Most inflorescences with dry, tan fruit, a few fruits still yellow-green. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Wood specimen from an upper trunk. Coll.: M. Nee 58125 28 Aug. 2011
