Southern Bahian Wet Forest. Soil deep, clay, light brown to reddish (lower slopes ideal for growing cocoa).

Description
Tree, 10 cm DBH, ca. 10 m tall, latex watery, white; leaves dark shiny green above with pale nerves, pale, almost glaucous green beneath; inflorescence capitula dark olive green. "Amora preta". Phenology of specimen: Flower.
