Epiphyte on large tree trunk in small pasture.
Stems hanging down at 45 angle, 2.0-4.0 m.
above the ground. Inflor. branches deep pink.
Calyx deep to pale pink. (38E). Corolla tube
white to pinkish-white. At 1180 m.
Upper drainage of the Río Peñas Blancas below the Monteverde Cloud
Forest Nature Reserve. Premontane rain forest formations with original
forest and some pastures on hilly ground. Alajuela Province. 9° 17' N. X
84" 86’W. 1250-1350 m. altitude.
