Stems hanging down at 45 angle, 2.0-4.0 m. above the ground. Inflor. branches deep pink. Calyx deep to pale pink. (38E). Corolla tube white to pinkish-white. At 1180 m. Upper drainage of the Río Peñas Blancas below the Monteverde Cloud Forest Nature Reserve. Premontane rain forest formations with original forest and some pastures on hilly ground.
