3415-3110 m. Montane cloud forest.
Epiphytic shrub with branches to 0.75 m long. Leaves
dark green above, pale green beneath. Floral bracts,
bracteoles and pedicels green suffused with light
red. Calyx tube red; limb and lobes pale green.
Corolla tube dark, bright red; limb & lobes becoming
pale whitish-green. Fruits immature, green. Common
but little in flower.
