1.5 in. Leaves rugose, crisp, nitid above, fairly nitid
?below, margin slightly revolute. A transect of the
Cinchona population from its upper limit at 10,800 feet
down to 9700 ft, or from the Crespilla zone into the
Pata de gallinazo zone.
PROV. AZUAY: Along trail to Mendez above Sevilla de Oro
At immediate vicinity of the laguna, 10,000-9,950 feet.
