Satyria warszewicm Klotzsch det. E. Ann Powell, 2005 Wake Forest University (WFU), USA BELIZE ERICACEAE Toledo Along divide of Maya Mountains, Bladen Nature Reserve. Medium-height, semideciduous forest on broad ridgetop, on volcanic-derived soils. Canopy irregular, 15-25 m tall, with abundant epiphytes and lianas, canopy trees: Quercus, Brunnellia, Hedyosmum, Euterpe, Myrcia, Lauraceae spp. and occasional patches of Colpothrinax cookii; understory with Psychotria, Synecanthus, Geonoma. 16°31'N 88057'W 950-1000 m Sprawling, epiphytic shrub; corolla red with white apex; pedicels maroon; fruit translucent purple at maturity.
