Vegetation: bosque humedo in small gulley with pioneer scrub on
roadside embankment.
Scandent shrub to 2 m; leaves coriaceous, dark green above, paler below;
pedicels and calyces pinkish rose-red, apex of corolla white; fruits
fleshy, somewhat vertically compressed berries, green with rose-red
apices.Bosque understorey. Local.
